Day 1 of Party Poppers and Favor It Box #8

Happy! Happy! It's Papertrey Ink release time again. And for the second month in a row (what a whirlwind of creativity!), I have some new product offerings for Chapter 3 Stamps. I'll be coming at'cha for six days in a row with super fun and celebratory projects featuring the Party Poppers stamp set and Favor It 8 Box, as well as the usual projects as a member of the design team. All new products this month are being released on November 15th, so if there is something you like, you don't have to wait too long to order.

Are you all ready? Let's get going.

Party Poppers came from the idea of wanting to include some festive paper crackers on my projects. They are synonymous with parties and celebrations. You can't help but smile with anticipation when seeing one. They can be used for a wide range of celebrations including birthdays, like in this card. I stamped the striped body and the ends (all three pieces are separate dies) in Hibiscus Burst ink with the band in Aqua Mist and the star in Royal Velvet. A large confetti cluster is also included in this set and I stamped that in Royal Velvet ink on the main panel of the card. Heather's new Sentiment Signs made up my background when stamped repeatedly.

Next up, some fun with the new Favor It 8 die cut box. Man, this thing is roomy. Assembled it is 8.25" x 1.5"x 1.5". The space you have to store goodies or a gift is 4"x1.5"x1.5". And guess what? It's adjustable. I'll be back later this week with a video on how to make it even bigger. But for now, I assembled it how it was originally intended.

I found that Sentiment Signs fits nicely on the main body of the box. I wonder what is inside?

The die consists of two pieces, an edge and the middle. You cut and use two edges on each side of the middle to make this long tube. With all the score lines folded and things morphed into place, you have "pinched" middles that you can tie with ribbon to keep closed. There is a small opening left on the inside at the "pinched" portion. I had a 1.5" inch square punch that helped close it off nicely when I have contents that are small enough to fall out.

Inside these particular poppers I have glitter, confetti, and a scroll. Untie one ribbon side to get to all the goodies.

The scroll is opened to reveal an invitation to a New Year Eve Bash using By Invitation, Over Under Easy, and a sentiment that is included in Party Poppers. What a fun way to receive an invite. Just imagine what else you can put in the box for creative presentation? Oh boy...do I have some fun stuff to show you. See you tomorrow.

That's it for me today. Be sure to check out more projects at the following blogs:
