Why don't I show you just how delightful it is?
I've a bit of an inspirational hangover from last month's release when it comes to all things yarn. I think every mason jar in my house now needs a crochet jar cozy after this project. So adorable and easy. The papercrafted heart from With All My Heart on the front. This jar holds little love notes (out of Dearest Jane paper and fancied up with Simple Valentine's stamps) to help celebrate an anniversary.
A lovely heart serves as my focal point. This polka dot one in particular comes with an opening in the stamp for a multi step floral image. I decided to go ahead and stamp the leaves portion, but added additional floral die cuts from Floral Fusion #10 and #3 to get a bit of dimension, covering up the openings in the stamp. The teeny tiny banner is the new Christmas Countdown die. Super handy and a steal at $3. I used the new Limitless Layers Heart dies to cut out that delicate pinked border that frames my valentine.
I love the opportunity to stamp a jar topper when it comes to mason jars. I felt this sentiment from the new Sending My Love worked well for a gift of little nostalgic snippets from a relationship. The Whole thing makes a simple, but meaningful anniversary gift.
...to see a crochet heart applique underneath if for some reason you want to use the cozy for another jar. Versatile. Got the idea here.
How about a card? Hearts galore! Crazy products on this one. I just put on anything that inspired me in a collage type way. The chevron heart, "be mine", little flag banner, love seal, and the little "with all my heart" are from the new With All My Heart. We've got the Limitless Layers Heart die cuts going again. And do you see the Raspberry Fizz heart on the larger Pure Poppy heart? That's an example of the new Heart-2-Heart #11 die fitting on the older Heart-2-Heart #3 die. Nice fit.
Be sure to share the love and see more projects from the rest of the PTI team. Everything's coming up hearts and roses today.

Oh my goodness your anniversary jar is so cute and what a neat idea to add the little love notes.
ReplyDeleteThe jar is gorgeous, I love it!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteReally cute idea...wish I could crochet!
ReplyDeleteSuper great and sweet cards!
ReplyDeleteWell, I must blame YOU. I decided that I should have babies.... at 60 years old. Oh, I know it's not really the ideal age, but what else could account for how amazing and creative your efforts are these days. (Could it be sleep deprivation?) Really..how do you keep it up?!
ReplyDeleteJust loving your color combos, too. Seriously in awe, as usual.
Where are the stamps from on the AWESOME Valentine's Day card above? I love the chevron heart and other stamps!!
