Embroidered Blooms

It's that time again! Ready to see some beautiful new products from Papertrey Ink with the first of two Group Posts of December? 'Cause I'm getting right down to it.

We've got some ultra feminine stamp sets on tap today with Embroidered Blooms (by Nichole) and Ribbons & Bows (by Maile). The work wonderfully alone and are just magic when used together. I've got an example of each.

Embroidered Blooms is a flower building set that can be stamped in multiple steps for a realistic hand stitched look. Particularly effective when used with Papertrey Ink's  Perfect Match Colors that come in different shades of the same tone. Here I stamped the leaf spray in both Winter Wisteria and Royal Velvet as more of an supporting element on Winter Wisteria Simple Striped Patterned Paper. Heart Print dies are cut out of Dearest Jane paper and topped with buttons. The sentiment is from the set as well. I like how the top of the "h" can fit between "so much".

Next up, I have a card using both Ribbons & Bows and Embroidered Blooms together. I'm rather bow-tying -challenged so I totally embrace with enthusiasm a stamp that can create the look for me. I stamped the full, multi stranded bow up in the upper left hand corner and just slightly overlapped my Limitless Layers Heart  (FABULOUS dies!) on it. A Melon Berry button helps to visually tie them together.

The neat thing about the new Embroidered Blooms stamps is that the work with the previously released Beautiful Blooms and Turning a New Leaf Dies. Easy to make a little leaf spray that curves off the edge of my heart focal point. I also stamped a few flowers from the set in Fine Linen and Classic Kraft ink on my die cut heart. The sentiment, in Dark Chocolate ink, is from the set also.

I hope you enjoyed a little taste of what is available to purchase on December 15th at Papertrey Ink. Both are great basics to have, no matter what style you like to stamp in. Be sure to check out some more projects from the rest of the PTI girls and I'll be back tomorrow with even more wonderful things to show you.
