Flower Favorites

I think I heard a cheer coming from all directions this morning in Papertrey Ink Land. Finally...at long last...after much requesting...they are releasing the Year of Flower dies! And what is so over the top fun about it is that they are all being released at once. When does that ever happen? Hope you are all enjoying the surprise here on Day 4 of the Anniversary Festivities.

My favorite of the stamp series are the flowers that come with leaves and clusters on the same main image. Think Larkspur, Lily of the Valley, Gladiolas, Morning Glory, and my favorite of favorites--the Sweet Pea. My little girl is called "Sweet Pea" by her father more than he uses her given name and I'm always reminded of her when I see them.

Of course, I call her "Sassy Pants" the most. The two names are a bit opposite of each other. She has her daddy wrapped around her finger for sure. And likes to push her Mama's buttons. Ahem. Could it be any more typical of an almost three year old little girl?

For my offering today, I used the new sweet pea die to cut out the main image and have it sneaking out over the frame created by Mat Stack 6 Die Collection. This wasn't a look I could achieve without massive amounts of fussy cutting--of which, I am not a fan. So I'm thrilled. Saving this one for my Sweet Pea one day.

Hope you enjoyed. Be sure to pop back over to Nichole's blog to see what other YOF dies are being put to good use!
