March Release Projects

Time to share my final projects for the Papertrey Ink March Release. I hope you enjoy them!

Spring Hills

This card is gorgeous in real life. I'm trying to decide who to send it to. Or should I keep it to myself? The folk art panel is embossed in gold on Soft Blush cardstock and then shaded with pink toned Copic Markers. The sheep, path, and sky are colored white with a colored pencil. I'm so doing this treatment again. Quite lovely. The sentiment is stamped on a Bountiful Banners die and the whole thing is mounted on Classic Kraft cardstock stamped with Polka Dot Basics in Fresh Snow ink.

Hello Foxy

Busting out the Copics on this card again. Shading on colored cardstock (tone on tone) and patterned paper. The mushrooms are pulled from the Way to Go, Kiddo! stamp set. That adorable foxy needed to paired up with a Litttle Bitty Bird friend, don't you think? I used all the elements to sneak in a rainbow. I like it!

Boutique Borders #2 and Rosie Posie Step 2

Man, these shading stamps are a dream come true. I'm in love. And I'm in love with Melon Berry and Berry Sorbet ink stamped on Soft Blush carsdtock. Lovely. Dawn's Boutique Borders this month is fun because you can easily just stamp one side of the frame to make it more like two brackets.

Comfort Food Additions

When the original Comfort Food stamp set came out in December, I kept singing "I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream" in my head and was a bit frustrated (silly) that I couldn't stamp that. I think I kept searching my brain for a way to do it but came up with butkus. I could have saved myself a ton of frustrating by just patiently waiting a few months. There was no doubt in my mind when I saw the preview that this is the card I would be making.

Wonderful Words: Birthday

We got dies a little later than the stamps this time around. I needed to get the show on the road, so I proceeded with out them. I can tell you, I'm so spoiled by them! But if I did have them, I'm not sure I'd have come up with three stacked "birthdays" tied up like a package with Ribbons & Bows. Fun to do.

So, I'm thinking you might see me tomorrow morning with another project. Until then, there's plenty of March PTI goodness left to see. Just a couple more hours to wait until all these new products will be available to purchase at www.papertreyink.com.
