May Release Projects

And another month has flown by with Papertrey Ink. Impending deadlines tend to do that to a person. HA!

Seriously, it is always a joy every month that we, as design team members, get to do this. I wrap up this final blog post with a smile on my face, eager to do it all again next month.

So without further adieu, the rest of my projects.

Side by Side Sentiments and Butterfly Kisses Die. I've been waiting for this die forever! Yes! Three butteflies flitter between two leaf sprays from Turning a New Leaf. I accent the leaves with Copics and itsy bitsy little expoxy dots from Michaels. I embossed with clear powder a border stamp from BB: Retro. A sentiment from Maile's set is stamped below.

A close up to show some detail of the butterfly die and stamp set it action. I stamped the solid butterfly directly on my white cardstock panel. I stamped the more linear butterfly on the die and then just glued one wing down, allowing the opposing wing to fold up and show off the image below.

Wonderful Words: Baby. Just a lovely excuse to use the Baby Button Bits dies and Tremendous Tags. Blocks are from Strawberry Patch. I liked that I was able to use three supportive words with the "baby" die to make a longer sentiment.

Boutique Borders: Baby. I am in love with this card. So very vintage. Has to do with the colors. I found a new combo that I like...Ocean Tides and Pinefeather on Aqua Mist cardstock. A Sweet Life roses and sentiment from Stylish Sentiment: Birthday (embossed in gold) help support my 1940's vibe.

I created corner accents using only one side of Dawn's Boutique Borders: Baby set for the month. Just another idea for you.

Red, White, and Blue. Being a 4th of July baby, I particularly like this set. Last month's Star Gazer dies are a perfect match for the trailing streamers of fireworks.

Polka Dot Parade #4. I think all teddy bears need to arrive with heart balloons, don't you? All the better if they are holding up an adorable basket from Vintage Picnic.

Tiny Triangles. A very masculine card. I used the Triangle Cover Plate to place my rows of triangles in Blueberry Sky, Orange Zest, and New Leaf. In the spaces in between,  the triangle strip from last month's Sketched Shapes stamped in Dark Chocolate on Dark Chocolate cardstock add a little interest.

And that is all folks. More inspiration is just a click away. Thanks for joining me this month.
