February Release Projects

Popping in here for the last day of the February 2014 PTI Release. Time to show you all I've done with the boatload of fabulous new products being released this month.

Be Happy and Keep It Simple: Birthday: I adore this little set. The borders and frame are every so useful. Design wise, check out how the border between the Enchanted Evening and Stamper's Select White hits right between the happy birthday phrase. :)

Sweet Speech and Monthly Moments: Library Card: I don't think Sweet Speech could be any more aptly named. Cutest ever and great font choice.

Leave It Be and A Little Inspiration: I went all technique-y on these leave. They are stamped in the base color (Summer Sunrise and Autumn Rose) and then details added with Copics and shading added with ink one shade darker (Orange Zest, Scarlet Jewel) with an ink applicator.  The Building Block Dies were used (how awesome is this!?!?) and back with burlap paper. I love how the two phrases from A Little Inspiration are the same size as the smaller Building Block Rectangles.

Phrase Play: #1, Button Stackers, Building Blocks, Cover Plate: Diagonal Stripe: This going to be such a fun series. And those button dies?!?!?! Amazing. I don't think they'll ever get put away. I carried the stamped portion of my sentiment to the inside of the card.

Monthly Moments: February, Day by Day Calendar Card Die: I used the journaling lines from this stamp set to make a background and I colored in the hearts with three different shades of Copics. Elements from Monthly Moments February were used to create a word collage at the top.

Birthday Classics: February, Monthly Moments: Slide Frame, and Gracious Garden:  Man, thrilled with how nicely this sentiment filled up the middle of the Slide Frame Die. This card has long since been put in the mail and sent to my SIL. That's a good stamp set if I could hardly wait to put it into practical use.

Thanks for joining us this month. Not much longer to wait to purchase all these new products. They go live at www.papertreyink.com at 10 PM EST tonight, February 15th. YAY! The long wait is over.
