Day 2 of Bibliophile + Fancy Teacup Die

Welcome back for some more Bibliophile today for Day 2 of the July Papertrey Ink Countdown. I'm going to be highlighting some of the non-quote sentiments today as well as the Fancy Teacup Die that I have coming out in conjunction with the Bibliophile stamp set.

Sharing a Favorite Book from Bibliophile

Besides bookmarks, you can use the new Bibliophile stamps and dies to create "bookscapes" on your projects. It's really fun to set the scene. Especially when you get to use the new Fancy Teacup Die along with the Bibliophile Dies books. Isn't it fun? All the color and patterned paper possibilities here really make it so easy.

There are three sentiments that I've included in the Bibliophile stamp set that consist of four separate stamps each. Each line in the sentiment is a different stamp. Which is what makes it so easy to place them spread out along the spines of the books created with the Bibliophile Die Collection.

All three sentiments have the general theme of what you might want to say if you are gifting a book to somebody. I'm not sure about you, but I give A LOT of books. It's my go-to gift along with a handmade card and a gourmet chocolate bar. Imagine putting a homemade bookmark like the ones I showed yesterday. Such a thoughtful, practical, and enjoyable gift that works for absolutely anybody. You can never go wrong with a book!

A Book for Your Birthday from Bibliophile

Here's another of the book spine sentiments. Perfect for a birthday. And this time the Fancy Teacup is resting on top of the stack. A few special features of the Fancy Teacup Die. You can see some detail lines to help define additional details. Also, the die is a two layer die. You have the top layer with the detail lines and cut outs and the bottom layer that is completely solid. No piecing in the positive pieces if you don't want to. In this example, my second layer is out of Classic Kraft cardstock.

In the first card I showed, the Fancy Teacup had three colors. The top layer was Pure Poppy, the bottom layer was Hawaiian Shores. I cut a third cut of the top layer out of Summer Sunrise and pieced in the tear drop shapes. Just wanted to illustrate that a third color was an option if you are in the mood for it.

Thanks for stopping by. All these new products will be available on July 15th at www.papertreyink.com if you are interested in adding them to your collection.

  5. Hi Erin,

I am head over heels in love with this set! The cards are GORGEOUS and the sentiments PERFECTION!
I am going to take a cue from the sentiment of the first card, and am going to tell you and the others that see this comment some authors that I cherish...Liane Moriarty, beginning with The Husband's Secret and every single book of hers. Tana French, also every single book,The Girl In The Train...OMG! everything from Harlan Coben, Jodi Picoult,Allison Pataki And J.K. Rowlings and to finish All The Light We Cannot See...SPECTACULAR!
For the Spanish speaking, Isabel Allende, Ruíz Zafón, Rosa Montero, Almudena Grandes...All the books! and to finish from Carmen Posada a delicacy that is called "Pequeñas Infamias" Hope you like them!
A far as 50 Shades Of Gray, won't read it, not interested specially because I don't condone any form of abuse.

    Cariños,
    María Alba
