Children's Gift

Ahhhhhh!!!! Anybody else pulling their hair out?!?!? It's that crazy time of year, getting everything ready. Especially for the mamas. I heard somebody refer to us as the "magic makers" the other day. So right. BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!!

Popping in here with a project while I have a few minutes. It's going to be brief, I'm afraid. Just got a little window before I have to get kids up and motivated for school. Usually, I'm much more chatty.

Holiday Gift Ensemble Using Dies and Stamps from Papertrey Ink

This is an ensemble I made for friends of ours with two little boys. It's really important to me that holiday gifts are meaningful and candy-less. I think between the personalized ornaments and Santa frame, I hit the mark.

Monogrammed Sweater Ornaments Using the Softie Sweater Die and Sew Stylish Alphabet Dies from Papertrey Ink

Softie Sweater ornaments made out of PTI felt. I inverted the colors between the two. These boys have longer names than I could stitch in with the new Small Stitched Alphabet, so I monogrammed them with Sew Stylish Alphabet 1 and https://www.papertreyink.com/pti-dies/papertrey-ink-sew-stylish-alphabet-2-die/2.

Add a Stamped Message to Your Softie Hanger

The Softie Hanger Die is a perfect place to add a stamped message. Just curve your stamp to keep the contour.

Santa's Official Seal of Approval Using Products by Papertrey Ink

And this beauty is what had me ordering an emergency stockpile of PTI's Stamper Select White Cardstock and a gigantic roll of foam tape. Can you believe this frame is entirely out of paper? It is cut on my Silhouette. The cut file can be found here.  I'm so very hooked on this frame as it looks so realistic. Head's up, it takes a bit of cardstock. About 9 sheets. You have plenty of leftover for other projects and it cuts rectangular panels that are extra to be used on other projects. It just that it will eat up your full sheets. Warning you now. So worth it, however. And if you do the math, can be made for around $1.50 a frame. Can't beat that for a gift.

Santa Stationery and Type Strips Stamps by Papertrey Ink

I used the fantastic Santa's Stationery stamp set to make this "seal of approval" certificate that goes inside the frame. Type Strips stamps and die add the names of these two little boys in alternating color, just like the sweater ornaments.

Felt Accent Using Coffee Cozy Detail Dies by Papertrey Ink

A felt heart created with the Coffee Cozy Detail Dies and flanked with sprigs from the Wee Folk Holiday Mini Market Kit add a little detail to my frame.

And that's, that. I made a list of who I want to make this frame for and I'm sneaking time here and there to make nine more. I just adore them. Especially with personalized ornaments. The perfect handmade gift for those I care about.

OK. I have more projects underway. Hope to share them soon.
