There's nothing wrong with recycling ideas to make new projects. Takes a lot of the guess work out of it. You know what works, you know what doesn't. Get all the creative fun without any of the brain frustration. I'm a fan.
So this card is from the June PTI release and features Night, Night Moon with Dotti Biscotti patterned paper. My favorite is the glitter star in the very middle.
And this card took the idea and the same paper, but used different stamps (Beautiful Blooms I and II) and a different sentiment. What I saved in creative time, I ate up trying to get the flowers lined up properly. HA!
You'll notice on both that I took longer sentiments from Inside/Out Baby and Inside/Out Thank You and split up the lines. Depending on the line of text, it was either easy masking or just inking up one line. On my short list for videos one day.
OK. Onto my Nightly Bones. Can I stay up for it all tonight? I feel asleep last night on the couch around 11 half way through and woke up with Eliza at 4 AM. YIKES. But at least it was 5 hours of straight sleep, right? I'll take that where ever I happen to be laying.
I can still remember the times I had to get up to feed my son and he is almost 11 now. So tiring, and he didn't sleep through the night until he was almost 3!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the cards. Fun idea to stamp the images this way.
Eveline.
Lovely, lovely Erin, even for a Mum with "milk brain" - as Australian expression, not sure how it will translate.
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, thank you! I have a baby stamp set similar to what you used, with lots of cute images, but couldn't figure out how to use them all...that card is perfect. Thank you for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteStill creative with little sleep - way to go Erin.
ReplyDeleteLove popping onto your site and seeing new stuff.
Hope all is well with the little ones!
