Happy Birthday Card
Sometimes you've just got to take a break from all the holiday festivities and do something else. And thus, we have the always needed Happy Birthday card. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE coloring that butterfly with Copics from Butterfly Dreams. It's ideal to show off the awesome blendability of the markers. And I also love teaming up the butterfly die with this embossing folder by Provo Craft. Not the first time I've done it, and certainly not the last. When you find something that works, go for it as many times as you like.
Supplies:
Stamps: Butterfly Dreams
Dies: Butterfly and Tag Sale 1
Patterned paper: 2009 Bitty Dot Basics
Ribbon and Button: Ocean Tides

ReplyDeletei love everything about this card! the great detail with the embossing on only half the tag, the color combo, the two sizes of tags, the embossing behind the butterfly.... like i said, i love everything! you are an inspiration to me. thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou thoughtful use of embossing on this card was just the right touch. So many times I think I overuse the embossing on my cards and you have altered my thinking now. Bravo!!! beautiful card.
