The sentiment this time around is "sending a happy HELLO". I was inspired by this project last month to stamp the word "hello" repeatedly on an angle in Blueberry Sky ink on Aqua Mist cardstock. Love that color combination. You wouldn't think it wold work, but it does. Between my "hellos" I have stamped a pinked border from Sew Simple Borders. Just to break it up a bit and add interest. The focal point sentiment is broken up between two cuts of Double Ended Banner and framed with Daydreamer stamps and dies. A fresh look for spring, don't you think?
Next up, I have a fanciful scattering of flowers cut with the new Polka Dot Parade #2 dies and stamped with the outline flower stamps. Lots of different colors and patterned papers going on here. Enchanted Evening, Pure Poppy, Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, and Winter Wisteria all mounted on a Sweet Blush panel. I'm using Sweet Blush a lot lately as more of a neutral like I would Aqua Mist. I've stamped everything in Enchanted Evening ink. To add an additional element and carry over the outlined look, I pulled a stamp and die from Butterfly Dreams on Enchanted Evening Polka Dot patterned Paper. The sentiment is from the upcoming Spring Hills.
And lastly, I've got this tri-color card using Berry Sorbet, Simple Chartreuse, and Blueberry Sky on Smokey Shadow cardstock. There is a stamp with four flower stems on it included in Polka Dot Parade #2. . I stamped only three of them on each of my colored panels and topped with polka dot blooms stamped onto flower die cuts. The word "hello" is from last month's Wonderful Word series. There's also a new die here I used...we'll leave that up to guesses:).
Feeling springlike? Or just wanting to hunker down and stamp? There's four more days of inspiration left, so I hope we can get both feelings inspired over the next few days.
