Holiday Cards and More Blog Hop

Thanks for stopping by to celebrate the release of Paper Crafts "Holiday Cards & More". Don't you just adore that little car box on the cover? I saw it and was thinking to myself, "Why didn't I think of that!" HA!

I'm lucky enough to have six projects in this issue. I really like working on submission calls. I treat them as challenges. Really let's my creativity take flight. I think my favorite project is a little sign that features "The Elf on the Shelf". SVGCuts has the cutest kit using the little guy. You'll have to take a peek inside the book to see my project!

We are suppose to feature a holiday recipe and wrap today for the blog hop. Like many of you, I'm a mother with lots of little kids underfoot. And sometimes there just isn't time for that. So I'm here instead with a cute, fun, and super simple food wrap project the kids can help you out on.

Put those little hands and minds to work creating patterns with Jelly Bellies in these little cellophane sleeves. I recommend doing it when they have full bellies, otherwise you are going to be charged a heavy fee for their help. One Jelly Belly for me, one Jelly Belly for you. Repeat.

I used CSS's  Toppers (fun kit!) and Topper Fillers, and Papertrey Ink's Gingerbread Lane (my favorite holiday release last year) stamped on Double Ended Banners. Really does not get simpler than this little project. And it is very adaptable. Change the colors for any occasions. I've even done rainbow Jelly Belly's for St. Patrick's Day.

As for the bags, I find they are best bought in bulk. I got 1000 for $8-ish at Paper Mart. Nice to have on hand. They are the 1"x7" size in this long list.

Here is the list of creative ladies participating in this blog hop:

After me, you want to go check out Jeanne Jachna. Leave a comment between now and Tuesday and I'll randomly pick a winner to receive a free copy of this fun issue.

Thanks for joining me. Anybody in the Christmas spirit now?:)
