Quick & Easy Holiday Photo Cards

We're back for the last day of previews at Papertrey Ink for the September Release. Nichole's taken one of your beloved holiday tradition, the holiday photo card, and created some lovely products to help you get all crafty on them. Just a few extra touches with these products will help you make one of a kind photo cards this year.

First up, I'm using the Instant Photo Pull Out Die  to make this little interactive card. I stamped one of the new sentiments from Instant Photo: Holiday on the front. Took a little masking to get the "Merry" in New Leaf and the rest in Pure Poppy, but you can easily do it quick. I added a couple teeny tiny snowflakes from Winter Penguin stamped in Pinefeather and bedazzled with red gems.

I found that the zig zag frame stamp and die cut from Fabulous Frames fits nicely over the opening in the Instant Photo Pull Out with a little overhang for adhesive. Just an additional option if you want to add something extra to the front.

When you pull out the insert, you have this long tag. I took a wallet sized print (you get two to a sheet at Sam's or Walmart for $0.15 ish,) and cut it down to 2.5x2.25 inches. Above, printed and cut with Limitless Layers 1.75" Circle dies are the names and ages of all the kids in the photo. These are my three and our niece and nephew this past Christmas Day. We got snow! One of those photos I'll cherish forever. They all look so sweet  in new holiday pajamas.

Next up, I wanted to add just a little something to a 5x7 photo. I cut a 7" x 0.5" strip of Soft Blush cardstock. I used the new One Liner die that says "love" in Raspberry Fizz. Together, they are adhered directly to the surface of my photo. I stamped and heat embossed in white the phrase "from our home to yours", also available this month in Melissa's new Holiday Home stamp set. I felt it was a nice accompaniment to the word "Love". A simple holly leaf cut with Holly Jolly dies in Simply Chartreuse and topped with a Raspberry Fizz button are the only embellishment. Just a little something, nothing major, to give it that handcrafted look.

Here's a close up detail shot of all the goodness. Then again, perhaps it is just an excuse to show off the adorable face of my Sully Man and his gigantic cheeks. Smooches!

Already to tackle your photo cards this year with all these great products? Get it done early so you can enjoy the holidays!:) All these products and more will be available September 15th at www.papertreyink.com. For more inspiration, click on over the the blogs listed below.
