Day 2 of Love Notes

Happy Thursday everyone! Just a few more days until the weekend:. I'm counting the minutes. Weekends during December always seem extra special to me with all the fun and festive activities going on.

Today I'm back with two more cards using my new Love Notes stamp set and coordinating die that will be available on December 15th at Papertrey Ink. I hope you enjoy them.

First up, I'm putting those cute little Adirondack chairs to use on this card. They look great colored with Copics. Imagine a whole bunch of brightly colored chairs on a card?

By creating two chairs that face each other, you get this sense of intimacy...of a conversation...of a real, true, and deep relationship between two people. That's what Love Notes is all about:).

To set my scene, I pull out an old stamp set called Door to Door. Isn't it fabulous? The illustrating style, line weight, and scale between the chairs and the house elements are spot on. Adirondack chairs are often on front porches (the pair of mine are), so it seemed like building a porch behind the chairs would be a natural leap of inspiration.

The sentiment is from Love Notes and embossed with white powder. I masked it off before I stamped the door, so the lines of the door stamp wouldn't interfere with the readability.  The sentiment works in all sorts of situations, like this friendship card. That thought is supported by the saying in the Door to Door banner, colored to match the chairs and frame the sentiment..

Next up we have a card appropriate for a wedding, anniversary, or for giving to your hunk of burning love. It is all about a kiss. And it fits perfectly in the space below the scripty "love" in the Framed Love Die.

And here's a close up of the sentiment, so you can get a better look at it. Sigh. It's a romantic one for sure.

That's it for me today. See you tomorrow. And more inspiration below. Loving forward to Nichole and Dawn taking this stamp set on today and adding their own unique styles of magic.
