I'm back today with a quick Craft Brew themed mini-gift for the May Papertrey Ink Countdown. This one is super easy and really let's you have fun with this set.
This time, I cut the beer part of the Pub Glass Die out of the Orange Zest Colored Transparency Sheets that are carried in the store. It has a certain luminous, shiny quality to this glass of beer that you can't get with any other material. Also nice to get that shine without having to heat emboss. The adhesive holding this all together is easy to cover up with the die cut from the Craft Brew Collection stamped with a sentiment logo. What man wouldn't love getting this from his wife?
I used Betsy's new Plaid Builder to create the horizontal stripes my Pub Glass is on top of. Because the glass part is vellum and the beer is transparency, you can see a shadow of that pattern all the way through the glass. Just like a real pub glass.
We carry the coaster board in the store for a ridiculously good price (25/$1). Using it with Craft Brew is a nice nod to how the coaster board is used in real life. Love how it is perfectly sized to fit within the borders of the largest "mystery die" stitched square.
While I had the coaster board out, why not stamp a few coasters to go along with the card? It's a nice little package that can be used while the recipient of this beer-themed love note enjoys a cold one himself. Just make sure the ink you stamp them with is waterproof. All the inks I stamped on the coasters are Memento inks so they won't run.
That's it for me. Thanks for stopping by. More inspiration today at Nichole's blog. And remember, all the new Craft Brew products will be available at www.papertreyink.com at 10 PM EST on May 15th.
