For my project today, I'm using the new Party Hat, Party Hat Trim, Balloon Bash Cover Plate, and Shakers Shape: Balloon Dies. The Party Hat Die is actually design to make an actual birthday hat for the party goers to wear (how fun is that?), but I trimmed it down to use it on a card.
The fringe trim you see along the bottom and on the focal point was made by cutting several layers of tissue paper at once. There are probably ten layers in the medallion. A staple holds it all together. That gets covered up with the Limitless Layers 1.75" Circle Die. Fantastic. And, of course, a little bit of felt and stitching really gives this a nice look with my new Sew Stylish Numbers coming out this month.
I have an actual party hat to share tomorrow. There's sewing involved. You'll want to check that out. See you then. And only two more days until all these new goodies are available. You can pick them up yourself at www.papertreyink.com at 10 PM EST on June 15th!
Party harty!
