Autumn Chicken Scratch

Hey Papertrey Ink folks! Welcome to the first day of the August countdown. I've just got one little thing to share this month with the release of the Autumn Chicken Scratch Paper Pad. It's just like the original Chicken Scratch Paper Pad, but in rich autumn tones. It's great for all your fall projects. And it goes very well with a lot of the homespun, rustic stamp sets being released this month.

Autumn Chicken Scratch Paper for an Embroidered Ribbon Look

On this simple card, I cut three strips of paper from the Autumn Chicken Scratch Paper Pad (Ripe Avocado, Terracotta Tile, Dark Chocolate) and inked them up using the Chicken Scratch stamp set. Since the tones are dark, I used Fresh Snow ink on the images that got stamped on the solid squares in the gingham so they'd so up. I really like how these paper strips ended up looking a bit like embroidered ribbon. A nice surprise!

Also of note, a sentiment from Heather's new Twig Leaf, a tab from the Bibliophile Die set, and the cutest little bow from the Balloon Strings Die. I've been dying for a little paper bow!

Chicken Scratch Project #14 for my Chicken Scratch Project. You'll see more of these between now and the 15th. I gave myself a challenge to create 100 different Chicken Scratch projects. So much you can do with this collection of products.

If you haven't visited since the last release, I've been a busy stamper/blogger. Take a scroll down the olde blog to see what I've been up to.

I'll have another share tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by.
