It's Christmas in September here with Papertrey Ink. So many wonderful products being released by the entire design staff. I hope it gets you in the mood to create for the holidays. It's getting me feeling all festive.
Over the next two months, I have a lot to share and show you. Been a very busy girl. It's been really fun to see how some if it all comes together these last few days. Makes me downright giddy.
We're starting off this month with my Fancy Pants Holiday Sentiments and Dies being released this month. They are all swirly and fancy and go well with some of the other products being showcased. I'm pulling out the Christmas Tree Change Up Collection that I introduced last year and teaming these two product lines together.
First up, a card that uses the large tree image from the Christmas Tree Change Up stamp set to create a background. I used my MISTI to help me achieve the shading on the trees and all these sentiments. The trees are stamped with a combination of Pure Poppy and Scarlet Jewel. The stars from the Christmas Tree Change Up Card Dies are scattered on the background. And I used the new Fancy Pants Holiday Sentiments and Dies to create my focal point.
I'm loving the combination of Fancy Pants Holiday Sentiments with the Christmas Tree Change Up Box. Meant to be! Really, the perfect companion. Here I stamped the boxes with the stamps from Christmas Tree Change Up Box and assembled them. I kept two of the four surfaces flat, to accommodate the large swirly nature of Fancy Pants Holiday Sentiments. All six of the sentiments included in this set would look wonderful on the face of these gift boxes. Lots of options.
Wondering more about last year's Christmas Tree Change Up Collection? It's one of my favorites. So very versatile and it can be used from everything from cards, treat boxes, home decor, and even stitched felt or paper ornaments. Check below for the links to last year's blog posts to see how it all works:
I'm going to be getting some more creative time with with Fancy Pants Holiday Sentiments today. Can't wait to see what else works really well with it. Amy has three projects to share today using this stamp set, too. Bop on over to her blog for more inspiration. And Nichole is formally introducing it today on her blog as well.
Looking forward to a whole day of crafting this Sunday. Stop by tomorrow to see more. And remember, Fancy Pants Holiday Sentiments and dies will be available in the store on 10 PM EST on September 15th if you are interested in adding it to your collection.
Thanks for stopping by.
