Creepy Candy

Well, Halloween candy is already at the grocery store. I'm trying hard to resist. Baby weight to lose and all good jazz. I think I'm going to employ one of my old tricks to get me through the season without overindulging...buy only candy that I don't like to give away! Sour Patch Kids, Starburst, Skittles. The kids love 'em, I don't. Works well.

Here's a little lovey for Hank on Halloween morning. Maybe I ought to trick him and put Cheerios instead of candy in it. He'd be just as happy.

I bought three of the new Hero Arts cling backgrounds their  last release. The swirls, the music, and the spider web. Spider web looks amazing embossed in silver against black.

Huge yard sale weekend in my little town.  Feels so healthy. Everybody getting rid of crap they don't want and getting crap that they do, with hopefully a little profit in the middle. I parted ways with my Baby Cricuit and a ton of wood mounted stamps. Had to be done. But I still have to walk away and not be a part of the transaction. Today was the last day and some lady probably hauled off $500 in stamps for $30. Matt thinks it is all "Let's Make a Deal". I think more along the lines of a limb amputation.  Really trying not to think about it. Ever been there?

  1. ADORABLE Erin. Oh, NO, not the Cricut!!!!!!!!!! Hope you have an Expression still tucked away....Speaking of die cutting machines, are you still connected with the Silhouette? I missing seeing your projects pop up over on their blog. Hope you are......I love love LOVE all the project you come up with. I still want to be your neighbor so you can give me the appropriate "crafting kick in the butt" to get me going..............Sad to have a craft room, but I haven't crafted in MONTHS.
Can you give me some ideas for something to make/then send to my DD in college?

  2. I can TOTALLY relate! I have an entire room FULL of stuff that I keep wishing someone would come over and sift through for me. I have the HARDEST time parting with stuff and it never fails...if I get rid of something (even if I haven't used it in YEARS) shortly thereafter I always find myself in NEED of it for something. UGH!!!
