The Rest of October PTI

Seems like the gallery is being taken over by gremlins, so I thought I'd post the rest of my projects here. But before I do, I just want to say thanks for all the nice comments that have been left to me to enjoy for the two group posts this month. Makes a girl feel good:).

Using the manger from Nativity Silhouettes. Might be a manger in December, but the other eleven months of the year it can be a house:). You can use sentiments from "Love Lives Here" or "Boards and Beams".

If this was one of those fancy cooking shows, this card would be call "Snowman Deconstructed". Uses Shape Up Snowman Accessories and In the Meadow. Seriously, you can get a lot of mileage out of that snowman set and dies.:)

Negative space can be your friend. Stamp set: Christmas Poinsettia

Very simple die layering on this card using Star of Wonder.

There is an ornament hanger stamp in Dawn's Candy Cane Christmas that is invaluable. I've been wanting something like that forever. Helps turn all the 1.75" stamps into ornaments. Using Tag-its #9, 2011 Holiday Tags (LOVE!)  and a sentiment from Christmas Poinsettia here.

The Sending You die set makes a nice fireplace to hang stockings from "Tremendous Treats" from.

Winterberry and Wonderful Words: Holiday. I see Christmas tree stamps and always want to do this type of pattern. So I just went for it.

OK. Off the the grocery store to buy the ingredients for Lasagna Soup and Taco Pasta. YUM.

  7. You, Erin, are the ultimate PTI salesperson...I've been able to hold off on Candy Cane Christmas...until I saw you using the little ornament hanger with all the 1-3/4" stamps...duh, why didn't I think of that??? Your creative genius is so inspiring...I too love how you're always able to take the sets and do something beyond the obvious with them!! I'd love to develop that skill. Now that I desperately want Candy Cane Christmas, of course it's out of stock. Bummer. Also, I'm not much of a snowman person when it comes to my cards, so even though Mr. Snowman and his accessories is super cute, I was able to resist on that one also...but I ALMOST want it after seeing your fabulous "snowman deconstructed" card...LOL...I LOVE it!!!! :)

  9. I don't know how you do it. You make me want to buy sets I was able to resist. That snowman deconstructed card is so much fun. The way you used the stable image for a home-is-where-your-heart-is card is pure genius. The tree as a background stamp...wow! The ornaments...YES! Thank you, Erin. I appreciate what you share each and every month. You bring great JOY!

  11. I know I'm late to the party, but I wanted to tell you that there are so many wonderful, out of the box ideas here. Thank you. I don't celebrate christmas, but there are things here that are inspiring me along other lines. And, I LOVE the deconstructed snowman. That will work for me for sure, although I may have him in a pile of sand, as I am in San Diego!

  13. Hi Erin,

Your site is always one of the first ones I check out whenever Papertrey has a new release or some other special something going on where the DT contributes projects. Once again I am left in amazement at your cards. I really, really love your style. The snowman card is so very cute.
    Thanks for sharing.
