Coffee Cozy and Coffee Cozy Detail Dies Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the 2013 August Release of Papertrey Ink. I've got two new die collections coming out this month and thought I'd spend Day 1 whetting your whistle for them. I'm just showing off the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what they can do. Why? Because it is fun to draw out the excitement and fun, of course! And I hope you agree by the time the 15th comes around, that these little babies are pretty darn awesome...if I do say so myself. :)

We've heard all the requests for a coffee cozy die on the Papertrey Ink forum over the last few years. This month, we've got one for you. It's the most versatile, adjustable, and customizable coffee cozy die on the market. Trust me. You are going to love it.

Today, I made a quick one out of Fine Linen Gingham Patterned Paper. It is embellished with the Mat Stack 6 Collection, Apple Prints (new this month!), and Everyday Treats. Perfect for hot cider or spiced tea.

The key to having all these stamped elements lay flat against the curve of the cup is to cut and stamp them out of PTI's White Adhesive Sheets. Low profile too, particularly important functionality-wise. You don't want it to be difficult to hold in your hand with lots of embellishments on the front.

Tomorrow I will be back with more. Much more. And a video on how the Coffee Cozy and Coffee Cozy Detail dies work together. In the meantime, I'll show you something that will keep you guessing a bit. Sweet little felt tree, no? Looks so great stitched into a paper tag. Those nice, even, and perfectly placed stitches make me so very happy. Sigh.

Until then, we've got more PTI goodness for you...

  1. Beautiful projects Erin! You are tempting me in the worst possible way to buy a Cameo with the mention of Elf on the Shelf cut files!

And your little hint with the felt tree? I'm thinking there may be some accessories for the clever barette cover? Could be wrong though....goodness knows I've been wrong before.

  8. Super-cute coffee cozy! I am SO looking forward to your video. I have a much under-used Cameo and many friends with little ones who are big 'Elf on the Shelf' fans. I'm so excited to see what else you 'brew' during this month's preview.
