PTI Release Week... Mini Scrapbook Series: Tabs Debut

What can I say other than I LOVE the fun and excitement of release week. Such a creative high. Hasn't lost its excitement after all this time for me. I even still manage to wake up in the middle of the night (all on my own) to check updates, despite knowing everything that is coming out now. That's PTI on the brain people...I even think about it in my sleep.

So today, I'm going to be contributing to the introduction of Heather's new set "Mini Scrapbook Series: Tabs". The set comes with lots of fun little tabs and words for organizing mini-books, scrapbook pages, and other paper crafty items. I found a rather serendipitous fit with an already existing PTI product that I think will make you flip. I'm not sure if it was planned or not, but sure like the results. So here you go...the tabs fit in the scallops of the large scallop border die! How awesome is that? Just another neat option for you.

Here's a scrapbook page for you of my brother and his new wife. They got married this last fall. I actually made all the invites, RSVP, place cards, and favors using the Friends 'Til the End set. Once I get my printer working again, I'll make you all a copy to see. Turned out fabulous. The dark peach paper on my layout (which compliments Melon Berry so well) is actually left over from all the invitation making. Paper Source's Papaya cover stock.

Other supplies include:
Stamps: Big and Bold Wishes, Turning a New Leaf, Beautiful Blooms II
Dies: Big Scallop border die, Beautiful Blooms Trio
Ink: Spring Moss, Fresh Snow, Melon Berry, Dark Chocolate
Paper: In Bloom
Ripe Avocado Buttons
Vellum

Be sure to check out the other girls' projects. I'm sure I'll be up around 1 to see them myself. And to think I used to have trouble getting up with my alarm in the mornings:).

  1. Totally Love the page you made for your brother and new sister-in-law. It is gorgeous! How fun that the tabs fit so perfectly in the Large Scallop Die. Just saw that the border stamps from the tabs stamp set also fit perfectly in the petals from the "Beautiful Blooms II". Such fore thought or magical coincidence!
