Boy Basics

Loving these back to back groups posts with Papertrey Ink every month. A lot of inspiration as you hop from blog to blog. Very enjoyable.

Today, we're letting all the fun out of the bag with the new Boy Basics line of stamps. I choose to work with Boy Basics: Out of This World. Just something about that rocket ship and the opportunity to color had me feeling happy.

I was inspired by this sentiment stamp that comes with the set to make my title. The numbers are much smaller versions of the By the Numbers dies, so I found myself reaching for those and Outlines Alphabet to take up some visual space on my 3.5x10 card. (I got some envelopes this size on clearance at the my local craft store...refreshing to have a different size to work with.

I used the star border from Boo To You  underneath a double line stamped from Faux Ribbon.

And here's my rocket. So fun to color. Aren't you loving all the different dies to go with these sets? Dream come true. Just be aware, however, that I hand cut the flame trail. That isn't actually included, but it is easy to do by hand.

Be sure to check out my creative cohorts tonight. I'm looking forward to the inspiration.

I always stick with the same size card, and after seeing yours, I'm thinking that it may be time to "stretch" things a little...
