Back to School Gift

My husband says this is way over the top. I say I enjoyed making it yesterday afternoon to give to Hank's kindergarten teacher at Back to School Night. The one we've never met. Guess that makes me a bit of a kiss up.  Oh well!

It a little gift card set using the stationary holder from the Back to Books kit at SVG Cuts. Used some apple paper from a DCWV My Sunshine pad that I got at Joann's. A apple from PTI's Apple Prints stamps and dies gives a little decoration to the front.

The little box has an opening for cards and envelopes (I have 9 of each, but there is a pop dot on each individual card in the same spot that is adding to bulk) and a hole for a pencil or slender pen like a Papermate.

I put this month's Might Oak Cover Plate to good use. Backed the leaf openings with paper from the Limeade Ice collection. Apple is from Back to School (picked to match the polka dot apple on the patterned paper), and various sentiments pulled from different sets to give a well rounded collection. I particularly like this one from Handy Hardware

Hope she likes it. Hope she puts me to work making some bulletin boards. Papercrafting Mom reporting to duty!

  1. A kiss up? Maybe. Ok, probably. :) But you could never be too friendly with your kids' teachers. And it's a super cute project. Who wouldn't love that?!
