Introducing Everyday Happiness & Year Round Happiness

Knock! Knock! Is this thing on? Hee Hee! I've been enjoying a November Papertrey Ink Release that has, for me, been uncharacteristically light in workload. With no dog in the hunt for the first time in three months and no extra blogging assignment, I've hardly been fazed by the whole thing. It is like I'm on vacation. And man, did I need it. Not going to be the case next month, so I'll take it while I can get it:).

The projects I do have this month have been a joy to create when I'm not eating bon bons and watching soap operas. I'm here to share a few of them with you today. Nichole's come up with a few sets in Everyday Happiness & Year Around Happiness that are must haves for your stashes. Particularly when teamed up with the One Liners: Happy Die Collection and the Tipped Toppers that she introduced yesterday. Between them, you've got just about any occasion covered in style. These cards pretty much make themselves.  Let me show ya....

Here we have a birthday card using the One Liners: Happy Die collection and the Everyday Happiness stamp set. Everday Happiness has a bunch of sentiments that can be used to finish off a phrase with a "happy" from the new one liners. I used the banner die cut out of Hibiscus Burst cardstock. I also cut the same die using Winter Wisteria carstock so I could inlay the letter cuts back into the banner.

I used the linear aspect of the One Liners to dictate the design of my card. I have two strips of paper coming in the opposite corner to balance the banner cut, one of which serves as my sentiment strip. The stylish "birthday" was stamped in Enchanted Evening ink on Winter Wisteria cardstock to coordinate with the Enchanted Evening card base.

Our notes for this release encouraged us to team these new products up with some older ones. What fun! I used Maile's BB: Circles stamped in Enchanted Evening to add some interest to the top of the card. The Star Gazer Collection dies gave me my little stars in Winter Wisteria cardstock and the Super Stars set gave me the perfect sized start stamp to fit into all those little circles. The bonus inlaid star die from the new Tipped Toppers finished off my star theme. Seriously, you can never go wrong with stars. They work with so much!

Next up, a holiday card using the One Liners: Happy Die Collection and the other sentiment set that coordinates, Year Around Happiness. I die cut the word "happy" out of a piece of Pure Poppy cut to the contours of the Mega Mat Stack #4 and inlaid it in the negative space of the same cut in Limemade Ice Bitty Dot. The word "Christmas" was stamped below from Year Around Happiness.

For my "something old", I busted out Little Bitty Bird. The Copic colored birds are trimming a Christmas tree from Winter Snow Globe with light string stamps and dies from Come All Ye Faithful Additions. I've seen those lights used a lot...very versatile!

That's it from me. Remember all these new, fabulous products will be available at www.papertreyink.com at 10 PM EST on November 15th. We've got one more day left of the countdown without another great sentiment set coming your way tomorrow. In the meantime, more "happy" inspiration from the rest of the PTI crew can be found below.
