April Release Projects

We've come to the end of the line for the April 2014 Papertrey Ink Release. All that's left to do is post the rest of my projects. Here we go:

Monthly Moments: April and Birthday Classics: I feel like I'm channeling Betsy on this would with all the color.  In my head, every time I hear the phrase "April showers", I mentally complete it with "bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring?" I had to go with it.

Modern Cross Quilt and Wet Paint II: A card for a guy. Ombre color that decreases from left to right.

Phrase Play #3 and Simply Framed:  This pretty much sums up how I feel after a horrible winter. About time too! :) Very simple card. The Simply Framed stamps and die are some of my favorite from this release. I used them a lot.

Tee Pee Time and Simply Framed: The arrows beg for fun of their own. Teamed them up with Happy Hearts.

Simply Framed, Letterman Stitched Numbers + Mats and Wet Paint 2: We often reference a kid's age a lot on projects. They are just as excited to hear about their grade in school. That's as big of a deal. I had to find a way to make the word "grader". I combined the word "grade" and selectively inked the "r" in "junior" from School Time Additions.

Botanical Blocks, Initial Thoughts, and Button Stackers III: Gold heat embossed both the flower panels on Melon Berry. The Year of Flowers Collection helped me add delicate Berry Sorbet roses to the background. Clear buttons on top of the Button Stacker III give an even more realistic look.

And that's all she wrote, folks.:) Hope you enjoyed the week. These and all the other new products will be available tonight for purchase at www.papertreyink.com when the clock strikes 10 PM EST. Thanks for all the fun, enthusiasm, and wonderful comments over the last five days. I really, truly appreciate them.
