Sympathy Card

String Frames Dies with Vintage Linens from Papertrey Ink

Not a holiday project today, but rather something I did awhile ago and didn't yet share.I adore the Vintage Linen stamps and dies. Dawn did such a brilliant job on them. I stamped them in shades of Autumn Rose, Scarlet Jewel, and Lavender Moon  (a long time favorite combo of mine) with leaves in Ripe Avocado and Simply Chartreuse. Just looking at this card makes me want to bust out this set again! Maybe for teacher gifts? Hmmmm...need to think about that.

String Frames surround and give the flowers a home. When I designed these, this is the application I had in mind. Notice bits and pieces of the floral go both below and above the string frame. Just to make it interesting. Super Gingham is stamped in Simply Chartreuse ink on Spring Moss card stock.

Fillable Frame Additions 2 and Words of Comfort are also used. Oldies, but goodies.

Definitely a card I don't like to make, but glad I have the tools to make something heartfelt and meaningful when the time arises.
