Scroll Cover Plate Kicks it Old School-Style

Back again with another card using the Scroll Cover Plate for the PTI February Countdown. This time around I've dug through my stash to find some older PTI supplies that look great with these new addition. I love using the old with the new.

Scroll Cover Plate with Photo Finisher Strips from Papertrey Ink

First up, I cut the Scroll Cover Plate twice out of Stamper's Select cardstock. The outher most scrolled frame was separated and adhered on top of the other using foam tape.  Even before I did that, however, I sandwiched a Photo Finisher Strip die in between them and trim off the excess at the edges. It's stamped with a sentiment from Everyday Photo Finishers. Both of these products have been at the top of my favorites list since they were released. The Photo Finisher Strips are a really nice companion to the Scroll Cover Plate, as they both feature extra details on the dies.

And how about the Mat Stack 1 die and fitting in the opening of the Scroll Cover Plate? I stamped a Mat Stack 1 Collection image in Vintage Jadeite on Mint Julep cardstock to bring a little newness to that too.

All in all, this is another easy and fast card with lots of style using the new cover plates. The dies definitely do a lot of heavy lifting for you. It's all good!

Okey-dokey, more countdown days to go. We're counting down to the 15th at 10 pm EST when all these fabulous new items go live in the store. I'm making my wish list too!

  6. You're the reason I just had to buy the photo finishers! I saw they are going into the vault so had to snap them up along with your new Cover Plates!
